I am a cereal box reader of old. Catcher in the Rye was one of those books assigned in high school. With the exception of Jane Austen, I never completed any assigned reading in high school.
My method was to read the first and last chapter, and skim in between. I got A's, but I never felt like I knew what I was doing.

I haven't read The Late Bloomer's Revolution yet. It's a memoir about a woman who comes into her own in her 30s. The blurb on the back cover says "funny, understated, and unbitter".

I'm still hoping that I am a late bloomer in my 50s. It's getting really late.

I checked out your blog. You have some nice knitting over there.

I don't think that I will ever have a complete set of every size of knitting needles. I do have two set of crochet hooks in their own cases. One of them is a set of itty bitty steel hooks like my grandmother used to make lace.
